I am a Kentuckian, a blogger, and a Crohn's Disease columnist. I am a military veteran, a model, and a mother to my fur baby, Bilbo. I am a writer, a cosmetologist, and, a phlebotomist. In this blog, I share my opinions and life experiences, as well as my feelings and my health problems. I share my patient perspective and all health-related issues that I experience. I will share stories from my life - the good and the bad, and the real things that others may not be as open to discussing. Hopefully, you can (or can't) relate. I suffer from Crohn's Disease, migraines, Fibromyalgia, PTSD, anxiety, and depression. I also suffer from Slipping Rib Syndrome and Degenerative Disc Disease. I have had IBD-related surgeries, hand surgeries, thoracic surgeries, and, neck surgery. I struggle with daily pain these days - but I try to get through it with humor and by sharing my journey.
